Here are some helpful tips for picking your outfits

• Make sure kid’s clothing isn’t too big.
• Steer clear of logos, words, and images on clothing and use care when choosing a loud pattern, especially on an adult.
• Keep it simple!
• Coordinate your outfit color scheme and look based on where your photos will be placed in your home. No need to match head to toe; have colors be of the same tones and coordinating colors.
• Put the kiddos in the bright colors and patterns as that is where our eye is drawn to in the image.
• Dress comfortably! For outdoor sessions, be sure to wear layers for maximum comfort.
• Mom make sure you can squat, sit on the ground and pickup your kids without any wardrobe malfunctions. Avoid clothing that must be messed with to get just right.
• Accessories! This is the time to wear your new earrings, big necklace and pretty scarf.
• No shoes needed for studio session - bare feet preferred (but not required)
• Fly-aways are the biggest hair issues. Wear a finishing spray or serum for a smooth look. Wearing curls? Keep them pinned up until you arrive to the shoot.
• Avoid shimmery or glittery makeup; clients often wear heavier makeup than usual but make sure it's still your style -- we want YOU to shine through, not your makeup!
