If you know that you will want to have the first year of the baby’s life documented in beautiful pictures this is the perfect package for you.
When you make the decision to purchase the Watch me GROW plan you are actually purchasing a certain number of sessions as well as products and services from me. This is a plan that is scheduled at different stages during the first year of your baby’s life. Examples of these stages are: a maternity session (32 weeks), newborn session (4-10 days), once they are sitting (6 months), a crawling session (9 months) and of course the one year cake smash and splash session. Of course if you want something completely custom I can accommodate that as well.
I enjoy using a theme prop or accessory during each of these sessions, providing a great collection of coordinating images come the 1st birthday. I really treasure getting to connect with families, learning just what they like and photographing the growth of their treasured child.

FULL NEWBORN SESSION

I'm extremely patient and pay attention to every detail while photographing your new little love. I assure you that I'll go out of my way to ensure that your sweet bundle of joy is warm, comfy and most importantly safe throughout the session. I take great measures to provide a clean, comfortable and safe space at my studio. Complete session of baby and immediate family members. Access to all newborn props, blankets, baskets and accessories.
Session goals include images of sleeping baby on blanket, baby in basket, theme set and family images in many arrangements.
3 - 4 hour session | Typically 75 proof images | Printed 4"x6" proofs of the 75 best images

WRAPPED / LIFESTYLE NEWBORN SESSION

Session goals include sleeping baby in basket, on chair or in crib, baby with parents and siblings. Use of your home location for a lifestyle feel. Limited props and styling. In studio wrapped session has limited poses compared to full session. Baby wrapped, no naked infinity blanket posing.
2 - 3 hour session | Typically 50 proof images | Printed 4"x6" proofs

MATERNITY SESSION

It's all about the belly and the amazing feat you are enduring. This is an important milestone in creating your family. My son often asks me to see photos of him in my belly, it's really cute how excited he gets when we pull the album out and flip through it.
For most soon to be moms the perfect time for your maternity session seems to be somewhere between the 30 and 32-week mark. This is typically where your belly is the perfect size but you are not swollen and puffy like the final couple of weeks of your pregnancy. Trust me, this session is worth it, and a lot of fun. I'll help you show off that belly in the best light, matching your style. Your significant other is always welcome to join in the session, as are pets and children.
Maternity sessions can range from boudoir style to family session and everywhere in between.

Congratulations! Having a baby is a very exciting time in your life! It does not matter if this baby is your first, second or even your fifth, it is still a very exciting time for your family.
There is so much time that passes between purchasing maternity clothes to picking out your baby’s first birthday cake. This time goes by very fast and no one wants to forget about it. You will want to remember every moment of the first year of your baby’s life.
This is where I come into the picture. I would love to help you document and remember those special milestones. This can be done from the time you start showing that beautiful baby bump through to when your baby turns one-year-old. My job as a photographer is to capture all of these moments and turn the photos into something that you will treasure forever.
I understand that when photographing a baby there is a large amount of planning as well as a very large amount of patience that goes into that time. You should be assured that I am good at both of these. As a mom I have been on both sides of the lens and truly understand the effort it takes to accomplish such wonderful images, and I strive to make it as easy as possible for you. During the newborn session it's a common site to see mom with her feet up eating a snack and dad taking a little nap while I photograph baby.

The Portrait Process
Pre-Planning
{ 3 - 4 weeks prior to session }
Determine location, styling, props, and how you want to display your images.
Taking the time to discuss what you want from your images will help us tailor a smooth session and not miss important details.
Paperwork
{ 2 - 3 weeks prior to session }
Be sure to sign contract and pay deposit to hold your session date.
Contracts are important so you know what you are receiving and how. 50% session fee deposit due to hold your session. We will keep a floating date around your due date.
Session
{ Within 10 days of babies arrival }
Send a note when baby has arrived so we can set the date and time of your session. This is best done within the first 10 days of babies arrival, I know life is unpredictable at the moment, it's okay. Dress comfortably and bring a change of clothes. Our maternity gowns work wonderful for mom to wear here as well.
Post Processing
{ 1 - 2 weeks following session }
I take care of this. Picking the best images, removing blinks, duplicates and bad snaps. Perfecting color, contrast and crop to make them really shine.
Reveal & Design
{ 14 - 18 days following session }
A presentation of your beautiful images, showing you how your images will look in your space. Review our amazing products and determine what is best for your style. I will help you design a collage or determine the best image for over your mantel. This is a lot of fun!
Art for your walls
{ most products arrive within 1 week from ordering for you to enjoy for a lifetime }
Final touch up edits are made on your ordered products, proofs are sent for approval before printing begins. Most products arrive within a week of order, some take a bit longer, (I will let you know estimated dates for your order). Items are wall ready and will be hand delivered to you or available to pick up at the studio. Need help hanging them, no problem, I'm happy to help!

What's the difference between Full and Lifestyle newborn sessions?
The biggest difference is that I do an infinity blanket setup for the full session, providing the simple, cute, squishy poses of baby curled up on a blanket.
These are not part of the lifestyle session due to the extra equipment, setup and time needed to accomplish these.
Lifestyle sessions in your home give a more natural feel, taking advantage of your personal items and decor. This is a great way to show off the beautiful nursery you've decorated. If you haven't gotten the baby's room done, that's fine too, a couch or master bed work as great locations. I typically never select the area you'd think would be the best photo spot, it's amazing what the camera sees.
Lifestyle sessions are available in studio and will simply not have the infinity blanket setup.
I am able to provide more props and sets with studio sessions, which also tend to go faster for more images because I am set and used to my space.
